Partnerships

Central EMS worked closely with WRMC to assist them in obtaining accreditation by the Society of Chest Pain Centers with both a Chest Pain Center accreditation and Heart Failure Center accreditation improving cardiac care within the community.  By working with WRMC we have been able to, implement cardiac cath lab activation from the field, wirelessly transmit 12 lead ECGs to the ED and Cardiologists, track EMS dispatch to balloon times to reduce the time needed for definitive treatment of a heart attack, to improve patient care and to reduce patient stays for those suffering different cardiac ailments.

With three identified time sensitive diagnosis, trauma injuries, heart attack and stroke, we recognize that steps taken in the field dramatically shorten the time it takes for patients to receive life-saving treatments like emergency surgery, angioplasty, placement of stents or CAT scan.  Our partnership with Washington Regional Medical Center provides for on-going monitoring and evaluation in these areas of care to be sure the best outcomes are achieved.
